On Pooday! A Day of Giving. ABF celebrates the life of our namesake, Ahmad "Captain Poodaman" Butler. Who died from brain cancer at age 6, by honoring Children with cancer. Because of the pandemic this year Pooday will be celebrated virtually. ABF Members will broadcast live as we honor over 350 Children with cancer, along with their family, Medical staff, and VIP Guests by throwing them a HUGE Silly Hat Virtual Pizza Party. Pooday will be a day of fun, full of people wearing silly hats, snacks, celebrity video pop-ins, interactive games, prizes, surprises, PIZZA, and soo much more. Although Pooday is an exclusive event, it will be broadcasted live on our website.
ABF’s annual event is Pooday! A Day of Giving. On Pooday, we celebrate the life of our namesake (Ahmad “Captain Poodaman'' Butler who died from brain cancer at age 6) by honoring Children with cancer. Due to the pandemic, this year Pooday will be virtual. The Theme, “Silly Hat Pizza Party”.
ABF Volunteers will deliver enough, silly hats, decorations, party favors, snacks, beverages, interactive games and prizes, cupcakes, ice cream and Pizza(from local pizza shops) for the VIP Guests of honor, their immediate family, and medical staff so they can participate virtually in Pooday as we broadcast live.
Pooday will be a fun filled event, full of interactive games, prizes, celebrity guests pop-ins in silly hats wishing Children a Happy Pooday, and much more. Pooday is designed to be a wonderful distraction, full of lasting memories & memorabilia for Children with cancer and their families and also a tribute to the men and women that care for them (Medical staff).
Although Pooday is an exclusive event, we will broadcast Pooday live on our website for all to see.
