COVID-19 has created various challenges globally. But for families that have a child diagnosed with cancer, COVID-19 is an additional battle.
Unfortunately, these families were already in the the fight of their lives, that was created by childhood cancer. Now they are fighting to keep their immunocompromised child out of COVID-19's devastating path. Most families with a child battling cancer, take a leave from work or stop working all together to care for their child, which creates a financial strain.
ABF’s Digital Learning Program is geared to support these families. By ensuring that every Child in need, battling cancer in the United States, has a personal computer, and internet access to enable them to learn remotely. Children with cancer don't have the option of returning to school during this pandemic, they have to learn remotely.
ABF’s Digital Learning Program also includes supporting remote learning for Oncology Units of Children’s Hospital’s throughout the United States. Our staff will coordinate with hospital administrators and their IT professionals to determine their needs. Captain Poodaman Charging Carts and notebooks will then be delivered to those in need of our help throughout the USA to support their inpatient remote learning programs.
Make a difference today,in the lives of children battling cancer! THANK YOU!
